PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Marie graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas, Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Political Science, and from SMU Dedman School of Law with her J.D. degree. She was President of the Labor and Employment Law Students Association from 2012-2013. As an undergraduate, Marie completed forty hours of coursework in order to become a Trained Mediator. While in law school, Marie was an intern for the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Marie also worked as a law clerk for the Internal Revenue Service. After law school, she accepted an attorney position with the IRS and was responsible for defending the IRS in employment litigation. Marie is currently focused on providing municipal service to the firm’s clients.
